Ramadan Mubarak, mis amores! we’re 14 days in! How?! seems like yesterday I was fresh into my caffeine withdraw because I’m being restricted from my bestfriend, coffee.

On to the important things. I wanted to deliberate the topic of honesty. If you’re on twitter then you would think that the thing no longer exists and it’s just merely a word, a figment of our imagination. Sad? Maybe. Realistic? Also a huge maybe. We live in a world that no longer values trust (according to Twitter), so we can’t be shocked by an entire generation not having any for the world they live in. It’s no Shocker, to me, that my generation (Gen-Z) is filled with people who lack trust so much that all we can be is honest because it is of that much value to us.
It doesn’t take much to be honest, and it sure as hell doesn’t cost you anything besides occasionally a few hurt feelings. Granted, I don’t encourage any of you to go out into the world, giving unwarranted honesty because tact is very much so a part of honesty, but I do encourage you an to re-evalute yourselves and question who is the dishonesty really helping? You? Your ego? Your reputation? Dishonesty only hurts the person divulging it. Be better and be honest with those around you and more importantly, yourself.
Keep living, loving, and laughing.
