Hey guys!! We’re 11 days in! And May the 4th be with you!

Thanks for tuning in again! Today’s lesson is a spin off of yesterday in the sense of they kinda piggy back off each other because you can’t have one without the other. With that being said, today’s lesson which you probably could tell from the title is on forgiveness.

Let me tell you, it’s super duper necessary. I know that we’ve all heard the phrase that you should forgive and forget and that forgiveness is for you, not the other person blah blah more nonsense. That’s not what I’m here to tell y’all. When it’s all said and done, you need to learn to forgive yourself. Often times when we seek closure, we skip the middle steps in trying to achieve the big steps. Should we learn to forgive the people who hurt us? Yes. Walking around carrying constant hurt isn’t worth it. But don’t forget to forgive yourself in the process because it’s not fair to your own soul to walk this earth feeling like maybe you’re the only problem or only looking at your own pitfalls.

You’re not the same person you were 1 year ago, 3 years ago, 5 years ago, etc. you’re not even the same person you were yesterday. You’re entitled to forgive yourself, so that you can begin to heal your lacerated heart. Get your closure. Forgive yourself. Begin to move forward.

As always,

Keep living, loving, and laughing.
