Hey Hey Hey! We made it 5 days!!

Honestly, I have no idea what I wanted to tell you all today. I kept it simple with my day and I think we always miss that point in life. Oddly, being able to just stop and and smell the roses of life has been one of the few joys of Quarantine 2020. I’m not sure about you guys, but I’ve quite enjoyed being able to get back to things that I wasn’t able to do prior to quarantine because of time restraints of regular active life. Things as simple as being able to nap for an hour, finally reading that book that’s been sitting on your nightstand, catch up with your bestfriend that normally you’re both too busy to talk to, even just sitting down and having an actual meal with your family.

Long story short, one thing that we should all take out of being quarantined in the spring is to take the time to appreciate the simple things that we’re blessed with that many other may not be blessed with. I forgot how much I enjoyed opening up a good book and indulging. I almost forgot how much I enjoy just sitting on FaceTime with my bestfriend and not having to actually talk, just have their presence. We can so easily get wrapped up in things that ultimately don’t matter and forget about the things that do like a semi-hotmess family, a ridiculous bestfriend, chill hobbies, etc. Whatever it may be that you’ve lost sight of over time due to the chaos that’s called life, get back into it and get back in touch with the reason why you fell in love with those things in the first place. Maybe then you’ll find it easier to find peace within your life.

Simplicity is good.

Seek better. Do better. Be Better.

As Always,

Keep living, loving, and laughing.

Song of the Day: “The Bones” by Maren Morris

One of my faves. Hope you enjoy!
