3. Ramadan. 1441 – How to Enjoy Being Bored

Welcome back lovelies!!!

Not gonna lie, I prepared nothing for today – I took the whole doing nothing in its full seriousness today and did absolutely nothing besides praying and reading. Once again, that’s not a bad thing.

Today’s lesson of the day is similar to yesterday in the sense of take a moment to sit back and do nothing, but also enjoy the plight of being bored because some people do not have that luxury. I watched a short Patrick Cloud video (I’ll put the link at the bottom) about the art of enjoying boredom, and he said to enjoy it because some people have lives full of drama, so they can’t ever enjoy boredom. As I thought about the concept more and more, I began to become more appreciative of my current situation. As much as I loathe staying home, not under my own volition, I thoroughly enjoy that I get to do so in peace because I know plenty of others who are probably reading this that simply don’t have this same capability.

It’s okay to be bored and it’s even more okay to enjoy the peace in being bored. Concentrate on yourself and your goals. Work on your own self development.

Seek Better. Do Better. Be Better.

Friendly reminder: You are entitled to your own peace.

Here’s the Patrick Cloud video:

Disclaimer: I don’t agree with everything he says, he made some good points that we can all appreciate and learn from.

As always,

Keep living, loving, and laughing.
